The Historical Society is an all volunteer organization with many opportunities for those interested in preserving Punta Gorda's history. Our Volunteers do everything from clerical work to construction, so each persons unique skills and talents are welcomed and needed. Donations
The Punta Gorda Historical Society depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like you, to help us preserve and restore the City's past and to keep it safe for future generations. Each of our buildings contain displays highlighting the era in which they were built and the integral role these buildings played in life in Punta Gorda.
